Undergraduate Senior Capstone Research Paper:
A Pre- and Post-2020 Analysis of Diversity in TV

This study analyzes on-screen and off-screen diversity in scripted series from 2017–2022, examining shifts before and after 2020. Drawing from 18 pilots across Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix, the research explores the relationship between representation, audience engagement, and critical reception. Findings suggest that higher diversity is associated with stronger audience response, broader global reach, and longer series longevity.​
